‘Agtechkorea’ (hereinafter the ‘Company’) values your information and maintains the following Privacy Policy. 1. Items of Personal Information Collected and Methods of Collection
The Company collects personal information for purposes such as membership registration, service provision, and other consultations, and may also request the entry of personal information for the purpose of aggregate statistical analysis in surveys or events, or for sending prizes. However, the Company does not, as far as possible, collect sensitive personal information that may infringe upon a user's basic human rights (such as race and ethnicity, ideology and creed, place of origin and registered domicile, political orientation, and criminal records); in cases where such collection is unavoidable, the Company shall always obtain the user's prior consent. Even in such cases, the information you provide will not be used for any purpose other than providing the relevant service or the purpose disclosed to you in advance.

2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company collects personal information for the following purposes.
- Performance of contracts regarding the provision of services and settlement of fees arising from the provision of services: provision of content, dispatch of invoices, identity verification, delivery of goods, purchases and payment of fees, financial services
- Member management: identity verification for use of membership-based services, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent use and unauthorized use by delinquent members, verification of intent to register and age, confirmation of legal representative's consent when collecting personal information of children under the age of 14, handling of complaints and other grievances, delivery of notices
- Marketing and advertising, such as service information: development and specialization of new services, provision of services and placement of advertisements based on demographic characteristics, identification of access frequency, statistics on members' use of services, delivery of advertising information such as events
3. Consent to the Collection of Personal Information
The Company obtains consent regarding the collection of members' personal information, and provides a procedure for consent to the collection of personal information within the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy during the membership registration process. When you check the [I agree to the 'Terms and Policies'] box, you are deemed to have consented to the collection of personal information.
4. Use of Personal Information
The Company uses users' personal information within the scope disclosed in ‘2. Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information,’ and in principle does not use it beyond such scope or disclose users' personal information externally without the user's prior consent. However, the following cases are exceptions.

- Where there is a request from an investigative agency in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigative purposes, or pursuant to the provisions of statutes

Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
The Company does not provide your information to third parties without your consent. Should such a need arise in the future, the Company will notify you and, where necessary, obtain your prior consent.
6. Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
As long as a service user continues to use the services as a member of the Company, the Company shall continue to retain the user's personal information and use it for purposes such as the provision of services.
A service user's personal information shall be destroyed in a manner that cannot be reproduced once the purpose of its collection and use (including temporary purposes such as surveys and events) has been achieved, or when the user directly deletes it or withdraws from membership.
In the event of a request such as the prevention of abuse or misuse of rights by a user, a dispute over infringement of rights or defamation, or cooperation with an investigation, the Company may retain the member's personal information for one year from the time of termination of the member's use contract in order to prepare against any recurrence thereof.
Where it is necessary to preserve information in accordance with the provisions of relevant statutes such as the Commercial Act and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., the Company shall retain member information for a certain period prescribed by the relevant statutes. In this case, the Company uses the retained information solely for the purpose of such retention, and the retention periods are as follows.
Grounds for Retaining Information under the Company's Internal Policy
The retention period of personal information upon withdrawal of membership is as follows.
- Grounds for retention: Prevention of re-registration by delinquent users, disputes over infringement of rights such as defamation, and cooperation with investigations
- Retention period: One year after withdrawal of membership
Grounds for Retaining Information under Relevant Statutes
Where it is necessary to preserve information in accordance with the provisions of relevant statutes such as the Commercial Act and the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., the Company shall retain member information for a certain period prescribed by the relevant statutes. 7. Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information
You may view or correct your registered personal information at any time, and may request withdrawal of membership. You can view and modify your personal information after logging in via the member information modification feature on the site; items other than your ID and name may be modified. If you wish to withdraw from membership, you can do so on the site, and since all registered information will be destroyed, you should carefully consider whether to withdraw. In addition, restrictions may apply to re-registration after withdrawal. The Company's procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows.
Destruction Procedure
- Information entered by a user for purposes such as membership registration is, after the purpose has been achieved, transferred to a separate database (or, in the case of paper, a separate filing cabinet), stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policy and grounds for information protection under other relevant statutes (refer to the Retention and Use Period), and then destroyed.
- Such personal information shall not be used for any purpose other than retention unless required by law.
Destruction Method
- Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding with a shredder or by incineration.
- Personal information stored in the form of electronic files is deleted using a technical method by which the records cannot be reproduced.
8. Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Users and legal representatives may, at any time, view or modify the registered personal information of themselves or of the relevant child under the age of 14, and may also request termination of their subscription.
To view or modify the personal information of a user or a child under the age of 14, click 'Modify Member Information' (or 'Change Member Information,' etc.), and to terminate a subscription, click 'Withdraw Membership'; after completing the identity verification procedure, you may directly view, correct, or withdraw.
Alternatively, if you contact the Personal Information Management Officer in writing, by telephone, or by e-mail, we will take action without delay.
If a user requests correction of an error in personal information, the Company will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction is completed. In addition, if the erroneous personal information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will notify the third party of the result of the correction without delay so that the correction is carried out.
The Company processes personal information that has been terminated or deleted at the request of a user or legal representative in accordance with the provisions of the ‘Retention and Use Period of Personal Information,’ and handles it so that it cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose. As the data subject, a user may, pursuant to relevant statutes, request to view, correct or delete, or suspend the processing of personal information.
The Company will notify the user of the Company's measures regarding the relevant matter within 10 days, and requests to view, correct or delete, or suspend the processing of personal information may be submitted to the Company.
9. Matters Concerning the Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices
A cookie is a small data file sent by an HTTP server to a user's browser and stored on your computer. The Company uses such cookies to obtain information on your browser type or service usage patterns, and based on such cookie information, uses them to provide you with useful and more convenient customized services.
You have the right to choose with regard to cookies. By selecting options in your web browser, you can allow all cookies, go through a confirmation each time a cookie is stored, or refuse the storage of all cookies. However, if you refuse the storage of cookies, you will not be able to use any of the Company's services that require login.
10. Technical and Administrative Measures for the Protection of Personal Information
Your personal information is protected by a password. The password for your account is known only to you, and the verification and modification of personal information is possible only by you, who know the password. Therefore, you must not disclose your password to anyone. In addition, it is advisable to log out and close your web browser after completing your work. In particular, such procedures are even more necessary to prevent your personal information from being disclosed to others when you share a computer with others or use it in a public place. The Company is not responsible for the leakage of personal information due to a user's carelessness or problems on the internet.
The Company implements technical and administrative measures for the protection of personal information as follows.
- The Company makes every effort to maintain firewalls and security systems to prevent hacking.
- When transmitting and receiving personal information, the Company installs an SSL security server certificate to protect the information.
- Access to personal information is restricted to those who perform the relevant work and those for whom the processing of personal information is unavoidable in the course of their work, so that other employees cannot gain access.
- For personal information handlers, regular and ad hoc training is conducted.
- Access records of the personal information processing system are maintained and are regularly checked and supervised.
- Protective measures are implemented when printing and copying personal information.
11. Personal Information of Children
In principle, the Company does not collect personal information of children under the age of 14. However, in special cases, the Company may collect the personal information of a child after obtaining the consent of the legal representative.
The Company does its best to protect your personal information. However, in addition to such efforts, you yourself must take care to ensure that your password and the like are not exposed to third parties. In particular, please always be careful so that your password and the like are not leaked through a PC installed in a public place.
In addition, the Company will not, under any circumstances, ask for a user's password by telephone or e-mail. Therefore, be sure to use your ID and password only yourself, and it is advisable to change your password frequently. The Company does its utmost to protect personal information, but is not responsible for the leakage of personal information that is not attributable to a member's personal error or the Company's negligence.

13. Supplementary Provisions
