Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the Company and Users in connection with the use of the Agtechkorea (hereinafter the "Service") operated by AgTech Media Co., Ltd. (AgTech Media; hereinafter the "Company") and all related services.

Article 2 (Definitions of Terms)

  1. The "Service" means internet newspaper reporting, data analysis materials, videos, paid and free content, and other information provided by the Company.
  2. "User" means a member or non-member who receives the services provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms.
  3. "Member" means a person who accesses the Service, agrees to these Terms, is assigned an ID, and uses the Service.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of the Terms)

  1. The Company shall post the contents of these Terms on the initial screen of the Service so that Users may easily become aware of them.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate applicable laws and regulations, and when amending the Terms, it shall announce the effective date and the reasons for the amendment, together with the current Terms, on the initial screen of the Service.
  3. If a User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User may request withdrawal of membership, and if the User continues to use the Service after the effective date of the amended Terms, the User shall be deemed to have agreed to the changes to the Terms.
  4. These Terms shall apply to all services provided by AgTech Media through the Agtechkorea and otherwise.

Chapter 2 Use of the Service and Copyright

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of the Service)

  1. In principle, the Company provides the Service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
  2. The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in the event of maintenance, inspection, replacement, or breakdown of information and communications facilities such as computers, or a disruption in communications.

Article 5 (Attribution of Copyright and Restrictions on Use)

  1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights in works created by the Company (articles, photographs, ROI analysis data, infographics, etc.) shall belong to the Company.
  2. A User shall not use, for commercial purposes, or allow a third party to use, any information whose intellectual property rights belong to the Company among the information obtained through the use of the Service, by means of reproduction, transmission, publication, distribution, broadcasting, or other methods, without the prior consent of the Company.
  3. Copyright in postings made by a User shall belong to the author of the relevant posting; however, the Company may use such postings for the operation and promotion of the Service.

Chapter 3 Obligations and Responsibilities

Article 6 (Obligations of the Company)

  1. The Company shall not engage in any act prohibited by laws and regulations or these Terms, or contrary to public order and good morals, and shall do its best to provide the Service continuously and reliably.
  2. The Company shall establish a security system to protect Users' personal information and shall disclose and comply with its Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Obligations of Users)

Users shall not engage in the following acts.

  1. Misappropriating another person's information or providing false information.
  2. Unauthorized modification of information posted by the Company.
  3. Transmitting or posting information prohibited by the Company, or using it commercially.
  4. Infringing the copyright and other intellectual property rights of the Company or third parties.
  5. Acts that interfere with the operation of the Service.

Article 8 (Restrictions on Use of the Service)

  1. If a User violates the obligations under these Terms or interferes with the normal operation of the Service, the Company may restrict the User's use of the Service in stages, such as by warning, temporary suspension, or compulsory withdrawal.
  2. If a User has no record of logging in to the Company's service to use the Service for a certain period of time, the Company may restrict use for the protection of member information and the efficiency of operations.
  3. The Company may terminate the use agreement without prior notice or suspend the use of the Service for a fixed period if a User has engaged in any of the following acts.
  • Misappropriating another person's service ID and password
  • Intentionally interfering with the operation of the Service
  • Intentionally disseminating content detrimental to public order and good morals
  • Planning or carrying out the use of the Service for the purpose of harming national interests or social public interests
  • Acts that damage another person's reputation or cause disadvantage to another person
  • Transmitting a large volume of information or advertising information for the purpose of interfering with the stable operation of the Service
  • Disseminating virus programs and the like that cause malfunction of information and communications facilities or destruction of information
  • Infringing the intellectual property rights of the Company, other Users, or third parties
  • Where there is a corrective request from a credible external institution, or where an authoritative interpretation has been received from the National Election Commission in connection with illegal election campaigning
  • Improperly using another person's personal information, member ID, and password
  • Reproducing, distributing, or commercially using information obtained by using the Company's service information without the Company's prior consent
  • Posting obscene material on bulletin boards, etc., or linking to obscene websites
  • Violating these Terms as well as other terms of use established by the Company and applicable laws and regulations

Chapter 4 Limitation of Liability and Miscellaneous

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability for Data and Information; Disclaimer)

  1. The analysis data and ROI reports provided by the Company are reference materials, and the Company shall not bear any legal liability for the results of investment or management decisions based thereon.
  2. The Company shall be exempt from liability for the provision of the Service where it is unable to provide the Service due to a natural disaster or other force majeure of comparable nature.
  3. The Company shall not be liable for any disruption to the use of the Service caused by reasons attributable to the User.
  4. The Company shall not be liable for the reliability, accuracy, or other contents of information, materials, or facts posted by Users in connection with the Service.
  5. The Company shall be exempt from liability for transactions, etc. arising between Users or between a User and a third party through the medium of the Service.
  6. The Company shall not be liable for any damage incurred by a User or a third party due to the User's violation of the obligations set forth in these Terms.

Article 10 (Protection of Youth)

As a space that all age groups may freely use, the Company separately implements a youth protection policy as prescribed by the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection ("Information and Communications Network Act") in order to protect youth from harmful information and to help youth use the internet safely, and the specific details can be found on the initial screen of the Service and elsewhere.

Article 11 (Resolution of Disputes)

  1. The Company and Users shall make all necessary efforts to amicably resolve disputes arising in connection with the Service.
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of Paragraph 1, if a lawsuit is filed due to such a dispute, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Company shall be the competent court.
